Tenor/composer ADAM KLEIN's career began at The Metropolitan Opera in 1970: for four years he was a boy chorister and soloist, appearing as Yniold in PELLÉAS ET MÉLISANDE and Zweiter Knabe in DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE. Recent Met performances include Loge in DAS RHEINGOLD, the Witch in HANSEL AND GRETEL, Yaryshkin in THE NOSE, Števa in JENŮFA, Chekalinsky in PIQUE DAME, Chevalier Delaforce in DIALOGUES DES CARMÉLITES and Elemer in ARABELLA; covers include Maler/Neger and Alwa in LULU, Aron in MOSES UND ARON, Tom Rakewell in THE RAKE'S PROGRESS and Mephisotpheles in DOKTOR FAUST, to name a few.
