Dununba
A truly huge drum made from a 55-gallon metal drum, often called an oil drum, with heads of cowhide from Shorty Palmer. The bell is a traditional Guinean dunun bell.
The decoration is a Horned Frog, Ceratophrys ornata, painted by Patricia Windrow. She painted a lizard on the other side: scroll down for that and a better idea of this thing's size.
Some dunun playing styles have the dununba player use both hands (holding sticks) on the drum and none on the bell.
